Ive just seen this on the homepage and felt compelled to answer.

I believe that if you live your life without love then its a life wasted. This doesnt have to be romantic love, platonic love is just as important. A love for life is even more important. A love for what you do in life, how you do it and all that stuff. You cannot live without it imo. Monogamy is a great thing. To see everything/most of the things you love in a person and even to actually find them in this world is an amazing thing. This place is becoming more and more isolated. Hikikomori is everywhere. Kids dont feel safe on the streets anymore and dont go out to play. The older generation are being forgotten about and have to choose whether to eat or heat their houses. This world is lacking love, so to actually find a person for life is a precious thing and should be treasured forever.

Even if you dont believe in monogamy you shouldnt waste the relationships you have around you. Every single moment is vital. Even if you think its doomed, dont waste any time. My dad and his gf argue lots cos they want to spend more time together. They spend more time together than most people I know. But all they do with their time is argue. I would do anything to have even half the time with Julius. But even now we are the happier couple. We understand the value of time. QUALITY NOT QUANTITY people.  I feel like shouting that at them XD

Marriage is tricky. For starters, kids and marriage should have nothing to do with each other. Religion and marriage should have nothing to do with each other. Dont get married because you have children. Its fine to get married if you have children but it shouldnt be the reason for that marriage. Same with religion. Civil marriage is a great thing. It makes marriage a better place. What comes to mind is the last episode of Boston Legal where Denny and Alan got married to each other. They were best friends and wanted to make sure that they were entitled to care for each other and make sure their assets were going to the one person they really trusted. They loved each other as best friends and so is a perfect example of marriage. Who says you have to be in a sexual/romantic relationship with the person you want to marry. As long as you do share a genuine love (whatever that love may be) it should be classed in the same bracket as *proper* marriage.

And lastly I dont think that anyone has a right to judge on who another person loves. For example: Loads of people think that being in love with a member of your family is wrong. I dont believe so. My uncle is getting married to one of his cousins next Friday. I see no probelm in that at all. They make each other very very happy and love each other lots. Where is the wrong? Another example: Apparently 51% of the population of the UK are homophobic. Why? Just ask yourself this: How does the gender or the family or anything of who a person marries or loves affect you in any way? Noone tells a heterosexual middle class person whos marrying another heterosexual middle class person that their love is wrong so why are they seen as *normal* and seem to get a divine right to call other peoples love wrong? I know alot of *not normal* couples to be together longer than *normal* couples. As long as they love each other and cherish their time together what is wrong, someone tell me please?

ANYWAYS, monogamy is a great thing, no matter who you marry or decide to be with :D

*Nintendo has confirmed a 2009 release for Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, DS remakes of the principal Generation II Pokémon games, Gold and Silver, which were originally released for the Game Boy Color in 1999 in Japan. Speculated by fans to be in development since the release of Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen, the remakes will take gamers back to the Johto region, found west of Kanto — this time as Generation IV games.

The games will most likely be able to link to Diamond, Pearl and Platinum as shown by game data.

Gameplay

HeartGold and SoulSilver will be released in Japan this fall, possibly on or near Nov. 21, the 10th anniversary of the original release of their namesakes. International releases will likely come in mid-2010*




OMFG.

I have very mixed feelings about this though. Gold was and is still my favourite game of them all. It introduced many of my favourite Pokémon eg Chinchou, Corsola, Octillery, Mantine etc. Ho-oh is probably my favourite legendary bird maybe even legendary Pokémon. I loved the features like the aprikorns and the bug catching contest and the train that goes to Kanto. And the fact that its the only game so far ive fully completed. Will all this still be the same? Will the Gold feel still be the same in HeartGold? By the looks of some graphics Ive seen it looks like the Pokémon will all have natures and updated moves and be able to compete in contests. Thats makes me sad :( While all these things arent neccessarily a bad thing it feels like theyre trying to change Gold into the DS market and make it like Pearl/Diamond/Platinum and not remake Gold and retain why it was such a good game in the first place. I dont want to be able to compete in any contest but the bug catching one. You cant in FireRed/LeafGreen, which were remakes of Red/Blue for the GBA market. Sapphire/Ruby had contests but FireRed/LeafGreen doesnt have alot of the features as they do. I dont wanna lose my game. Ofc ill play it and everything, how could I not? but I just want it to be done right. Give it justice.
 
Oh and I remember buying this game when it first came out. I remember it exactly, right down to the video shop I brought it at and playing it on the 47 bus home for the first time on my beautiful green Gameboy Colour. 10 years ago. I cant remember what I did this time last week but I remember that. IM SO OLD XD
